Social Fund of Russia Delivered New Batch of Equipment to Servicemen in the Special Military Operation Zone

The management and staff of the Social Fund of Russia (SFR) have purchased a set of equipment worth nearly one million rubles for servicemen operating in the special military operation zone in Ukraine. The latest batch of equipment assembled for the needs of the troops includes an electronic warfare station, an anti-aircraft spotlight, an inverter, and a multi-camera video surveillance system. All items have been delivered to a military unit where a Social Fund employee is currently performing combat duties.

The equipment was purchased based on a request from servicemen using voluntary contributions. Delivery of the specialized equipment was accompanied by a representative of the SFR Central Office with support from the Fund's regional branch.

The Social Fund regularly participates in charitable initiatives to support servicemen in combat zones. Humanitarian aid collected by Fund employees is regularly sent, including medications, clothing, household supplies, food, camouflage nets, and more. Relatives and close ones of employees often join these efforts.

The Social Fund actively works with participants of the special military operation and their families, who are entitled to a range of benefits and payments through the agency, noted SFR Chairman Sergey Chirkov: "These are our direct functions and responsibilities toward servicemen and their close ones. But we also remain committed to voluntary assistance and are always ready to organize volunteer campaigns to support our men on the front lines in fulfilling their missions."

Starting this year, the Social Fund has also been involved in the treatment and rehabilitation of demobilized participants of the special military operation. Specialists provide personalized support to veterans during their treatment at SFR rehabilitation centers and develop individualized recovery programs based on their medical conditions and injuries.
