Today, parents can apply for the capital utilisation directly from the electronic notice from the Gosuslugi Portal, which arrives after they register the certificate. The notice contains links to the interactive disposal form. Clicking the links helps save time they might otherwise spend searching for the service through the portal and immediately submit the required application.
To make it more convenient for parents to spend their maternity capital on a kindergarten, school, or university payments, the Social Fund accepts documents supporting expenses on children's education and related services online. Today, parents can attach a contract with an educational institution to their online application, while previously, the contract had to be presented in person, even in cases where the application was submitted through the Gosuslugi Portal. Now, it is enough for the Fund to get an electronic copy, and then the staff independently verify the information specified in the contract.
It has also become easier to use maternity capital to purchase housing: the option that remains the most popular among families. When filling out an application to improve housing conditions on the Gosuslugi Portal, parents no longer need to manually enter data about their purchased apartment or house: such information is automatically pulled into the form through the Rosreestr (the Federal Agency for State Registration, Cadastre, and Cartography) services. They have information on all real estate, so autofilling helps avoid errors and keeps funds from being rejected on disposal for formal reasons.
