A meeting between executives of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation and a delegation of the Labor Ministry of the Kingdom of Thailand was held at PFR on October 2, 2012.
The meeting presented a review of the Russian pension system focused on funding principles, types of pensions, social benefits and state support in the form of maternity capital. Reports were made on electronic state services rendered in Russia. This issue provoked a keen interest of representatives of the Thai Labor Ministry in the light of the award of the International Social Security Association received by the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in 2010 in the nomination of “Public Services based on Social Security Cards”.
At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed their mutual interest in the continuation of bilateral cooperation.
