The sides noted in the discussion that social security agencies played a major role during the ongoing financial and economic crisis and sought to enforce the state policy in social security and pension insurance providing worthy pension benefits and high-tech services based on individual approach to every insured person.
The Swedish colleagues noted the high level of development of electronic public services in the Russian Federation, especially those provided to all participants in the pension and social security system. Sweden does not have an analogue of the single portal of public services. The general director of the Swedish Pensions Agency noted the need for a more profound study of Russia’s practices in this area.
The sides agreed to continue and develop various areas of bilateral cooperation with due account of the topical agenda of social security and pension insurance.
