The sum of pension points consists of pension points for each calendar year
In the period of work: the number of annual pension points depends on the size of income from which mandatory pension insurance contributions were paid and the chosen pension plan. Themaximumnumberofannualpensionpointsin 2017 is – 8.26;
The period of military service by conscription – 1.8;
The period of one parent’s care for the first child until the age of 18 months – 1.8;
The period of one parent’s care for a second child until the age of 18 months – 3.6;
The period of one parent’s care for a third or a fourth child till each child reaches the age of 18 months – 5.4;
The period of an able-bodied person’s care for a person with disabilities of the first group, a child with disabilities or a person older than 80 – 1.8;
The period of a wife’s living with her husband on military service by contract in territories lacking employment options but for no more than five years total – 1.8;
The period of a wife’s living abroad with her husband working at a diplomatic or consular mission of the Russian Federation, missions of the Russian Federation to international organizations, trade missions of the Russian Federation to foreign states, missions of federal executive authorities, government agencies to federal executive authorities, either being representatives of these missions abroad, as well as working in missions of governmental agencies of the Russian Federation (government agencies and organizations of the USSR) abroad and international organizations the list of which is approved by the Government of the Russian Federation but for no more than five years total – 1.8;
The periods of service and/or activity (work) established by Federal Law dated June 4, 2011, No 126-FZ “On Pension Guarantees for Individual Categories of Citizens”, i.e. citizens of the Russian Federation who served in the army, the police, the state firefighting service, the drug and psychotropic substance control service, penitentiaries or other service, activity or work in which they did not qualify for mandatory pension insurance, dismissed from service (work) since January 1, 2002, without rights to pension for long service, disability pension or life-time monthly benefits funded by the federal budget, periods of their service (work) took place no earlier than January 1, 2002, – 1,8;
