Some 1.2 million Russians have received notifications about their future pensions, which the Pension Fund has been proactively sending since this year to men older than 45 and women older than 40.
Notices are sent to accounts on the public services portal and contain information about pension points, work record and the amount of future pension calculated on the basis of the current parameters. PFR letters also tell Russians about the amount of their pension savings and current terms of assignment of an old-age insurance pension.
Proactive notification is done once in three years to enable early evaluation of pension entitlements and to give time for enlarging pension savings. Russians who have no account on the public services portal may receive future pension notices anytime from any client service of the Pension Fund.
