The proactive assignment of insurance and social disability pensions began this year. Nowadays, they are assigned on the basis of information from the Federal Register of Disabled Persons without the provision of additional documents. Some 83,000 disabled persons have received payments in the proactive format since January.
A decision regarding assignment of an insurance or social pension is made within five working days since the day the Pension Fund received information about disability. Once the decision to assign a pension is made, the Pension Fund notifies the disabled person within three working days either in the person’s account on the public services portal or by mail wherever there is no account available.
An assigned pension is paid in the same way as any other payments from the Pension Fund. A person who has not received any payments before may choose a payment delivery method online via the account on the public services website or on the Fund website. It is also possible to file applications with PFR client services or multifunctional centers.
The proactive provision of public services without filing an application and submitting documents is part of the Social Treasury project, which aims to expedite the assignment of social benefits and to avoid the submission of documents.
