The leadership of the Central Office of the Social Fund of Russia (SFR) has purchased 15 unmanned aerial vehicles for servicemen in the special military operation zone, with a total value exceeding RUB 1.7 million.
The equipment will help soldiers carry out combat duties to eliminate enemy targets. The uniqueness of the drones lies in their advanced technologies, which prevent them from being disabled.
The drones were handed over to the deputy unit commander, an employee of the Social Fund, who is currently performing combat duties on the front line. He will deliver the drones and equipment to one of the military units serving in the special military operation zone.
"This is already the second batch of copters we have purchased and sent to the front line. We understand the importance of these tasks for our country, which is why we maintain regular contact with our employees serving in the special operation zone and strive to support them and their families. Charitable assistance has become a good tradition for the Social Fund," said SFR Chairman Sergey Chirkov.
Since the beginning of the special military operation, employees of the Central Office and regional branches of the Fund have donated RUB 220 million in voluntary contributions to support the troops.
In addition to monetary donations, SFR specialists actively participate in other charitable initiatives to support servicemen. Humanitarian aid collected by Fund employees has been regularly sent from the earliest days of the operation. Supplies include medications, clothing, household items, food, camouflage nets, and more. Relatives and close ones of employees often join these efforts.
