The fourth GosStart, a nation-wide forum for young government and municipal officials hosted by Rosmolodezh.Forums platform, commenced in Nizhny Novgorod on November 11. The event brought together young government and municipal officials (aged 14 to 35) from every part of Russia.
A thousand participants, including representatives of federal and regional authorities, local governments, members of youth governments, students and activists from the Pervye youth movement came from all over the country.
The Social Fund's booth will inform them of the Fund's areas of operation, social services and projects aimed at people of all age groups. Visitors can also do an interactive quiz.
GosStart is a congress forum with an exceptionally dense educational and useful program in six areas: Headhunting, Recruitment, Onboarding, Personnel Management in Public Sector, SMO Time, GosStart.Children.
"Projects like GosStart strengthen the nation's public administration with young and promising professionals, contributing to its future. Public administration today should be not just a job, but an informed choice and life calling. The project participants gets job experience at federal authorities, learn about public administration procedures and get a chance to prove themselves and lay the foundation for their career in the public sector. Pretty soon, many of the GosStart participants will start changing the government system for the better. Professionals like that are in high demand and needed at all levels of power," said Sergey Chirkov, Chairman of the Social Fund of Russia.
Over 250,000 young public servants small localities, municipalities and big cities have already joined the GosStart program. The first GosStart forum that took place in 2022 was attended by 400 participants from 42 Russian regions.
This year, the forum's operations will cover six key areas. Participants will use expert talks and panel discussions to learn about personal growth opportunities in Russia and get a chance to present specific initiatives on how to attract and further develop young municipal and public servants.
The forum's program will include a discussion on opportunities for finding, attracting, adapting, and retaining promising young professionals for government agencies. Additionally, it will focus on developing HR management competencies in municipal and public servants. The GosStart Forum is part of the Youth and Children national project.
The GosStart training center for municipal and public servants and Rosmolodezh are its organizers. The Social Fund of Russia is the Forum's main information partner.
