Social Fund's flagship offices opened in 10 Russian regions. In the first half of 2025, Social Fund branches across the country launched 17 flagship offices, and roughly the same number will open in the second half of the year. Sergey Chirkov, Chairman of the Social Fund, spoke of that during his working visit to Perm where he opened a new flagship office to service private individuals and insureds.
The key feature of flagship offices is their focus on digital services. At least a third of the service windows here have been converted into self-service areas with guest computers, where clients can access services on their own, with staff consultants' support.
"Results posted by flagship offices speak for themselves: while in a regular Social Fund office only one out of ten visitors uses digital channels, in the new flagship offices, it is already two out of every five. That means four times as many clients are saving their time by resolving their issues quickly and easily. Our staff can also be better focused on handling more challenging, individual issues," said Sergey Chirkov, Chairman of the Social Fund of Russia.
According to him, another key feature of flagship offices is that they are open on Saturdays. Citizens and organizations will be able to access the full range of services on that day of the week, which helps improve customer care and make the Social Fund's services more accessible. The extra opening day is especially convenient for working people, as they will be able to apply for services on weekends.
"Due to a faster service, advance reservation at flagship offices is always available for 4 to 5 days ahead," the Fund Chairman pointed out.
Consulting staff in the digital zone are always there to help with questions related to pensions, social benefits and maternity capital, as well as to instruct anyone on how to use electronic services and fill out any applications online.
The Social Fund started opening flagship offices in 2024. Today they operate in Astrakhan Region, Krasnodar Territory, Mordovia and Crimea, Vologda, Lipetsk and Bryansk regions, the Chuvash Republic and the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania. Counting the new flagship office in Perm, their total number currently stands at 57.
