New record data for the employment records is submitted following a staff member's hiring, transfer to another position, or dismissal, as well as in case an employee chooses their preferred employment record format.
This year, 2.3 million companies and entrepreneurs with hired staff submitted data for Russians' electronic employment records. In total, 85 million records regarding various HR events were received by December. That information is updated almost immediately after an employer sends the data to the Social Fund.
Electronic employment records are convenient because they provide employees with direct access to their career information, with no involvement from their employers. That allows for promptly tracking HR changes and, if necessary, presenting the data to various organizations, including when it is needed to access certain services. An electronic employment record is also convenient for remote work purposes.
Electronic employment record data is always accessible via a personal account at Gosuslugi.ru as a digital document certified by an enhanced qualified signature. Paper records, signed and stamped, can also be obtained at the Social Fund's client offices, multifunctional centers (MFCs) or from the employer. Both documents are legally equivalent. Employers only provide data for the periods you were employed with them.
