Today, this year's final meeting of the Board of the Social Fund of Russia took place in Moscow. In addition to the Fund management, the Board includes representatives from the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Finance, Bank of Russia, the State Duma, and the Federation Council. Liaisons from professional and public associations, such as the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, are also on the Board. Its meetings take place several times a year to discuss current issues and tasks facing the Social Fund.
At today's meeting, issues related to the funding of preventive measures to reduce workplace injuries and occupational diseases were raised. Natalya Sidorova, Deputy Chairwoman of the Social Fund, delivered a report on this topic.
Tatyana Suslina, First Deputy Chairwoman of the Social Fund, presented key parameters of the Social Fund's budget for next year and the planning period of 2027–2028.
Natalya Belyantseva, Head of the Social Fund Department for Organization of Personalized Accounting, spoke about the development of the system for tracking the pension rights of citizens.
The Board also reviewed the performance results of the unified call center on social issues. Denis Strakh, Head of the Department for Interdepartmental Programs and Projects, briefed the meeting on the results in this area.
The service standard for disabled individuals at the Social Fund flagship offices was also reviewed at the meeting.
The Board members presented their proposals on all the issues under consideration, which were accepted for implementation.
The Social Fund Board is a collegial governing body that meets at least once in every three months. The Board reviews issues related to the Social Fund's involvement in government programs and priority areas for the development of compulsory pension and social insurance systems. Board members also take part in discussions concerning the Fund's draft regulations and, if necessary, provide recommendations on sending these drafts for consideration to the Russian Trilateral Commission for the Regulation of Social and Labour Relations.
