For the Fir Tree of Wishes campaign Head of the Fund created a New Year mood and gave a little holiday magic to a close-knit family with four children.
The youngest child, Masha, is a cheerful and wonderfully talented girl. She loves reading, drawing, dancing, and singing, as well as taking photos. This year, she was able to feel like a real photographer: Sergey Chirkov fulfilled her dream of an instant print camera.
Gleb is a rambunctious, athletic and brave boy who adores football and swimming. Gleb dreamed of becoming a hero, so Head of the Fund gave him a mask, to boldly set off in search of heroic deeds.
Another girl in the family, Dasha, is gentle, diligent and creative. She loves drawing and reading, and is a fan of the characters in her favorite cartoon. This year, by the Social Fund's main fir tree, her dream of her role model's costume became reality.
Dasha's older brother, Serezha, adores his family, loves fishing and building models and dreams of becoming an engineer. Ahead of New Year, Sergey Chirkov presented his namesake with a construction set – not just as a gift, but a step toward his future career.
"New Year is a warm family holiday full of joy, when many of our secret wishes come true. For just that purpose, we have a wonderful tradition called the Fir Tree of Wishes. Every year, the Social Fund participates in this campaign with great enthusiasm make children's dreams reality," says Mr. Chirkov. Head of the Fund wished the children and their parents success, health, love and familial harmony in the coming year.
