14,699 issues solved per day: Social Fund reviewed the January 5 results

On January 5, 2026, the Social Fund's client offices operated on a reduced schedule so that citizens could resolve their pressing issues during the New Year break. In a single day, staff members helped resolve 14,699 issues.

"Our key task is to ensure social welfare is delivered to every citizen in an accessible and timely manner, even on non-working days. Our operations on January 5 reaffirm this priority," said Sergey Chirkov, Chairman of the Social Fund.

1,535 employees in 549 offices across the country accepted visitors on that day. The greatest number of citizens – 2,858 – received detailed consultations on the Fund's services. Staff members also assisted with submitting missing documents (1,909 cases), clarified payout conditions for families with children and pregnant women (1,895 cases), and helped issue certificates (1,450 cases).

Separately, regarding pensions, citizens received assistance on a wide range of topics (1,220 inquiries): consultations on submitting applications for pension assignment and recalculation, as well as on adjustments, establishing care periods and other topics.

Remember, you do not have to visit an office in person to resolve most issues: services can be accessed remotely via the Gosuslugi Portal or by calling the round-the-clock toll-free call center at 8-800-1-00000-1. Client offices will resume their standard operations on January 12, the first business day of the new year.
