Employees of the Social Fund of Russia advice clients on how to set up their digital certificates in the MAX messenger. Citizens can now get a step-by-step guide and practical assistance in linking their user profile to the Gosuslugi Portal and creating a digital ID at the Fund's client offices.
A digital certificate allows individuals to verify their identity and welfare status without paper documents. That is convenient for proving benefit entitlements, including discounts.
MAX digital certificates are being used in retail even today. The Magnit retail chain was among the first to implement this technology. The retailer launched a function that verifies the retirement status via the MAX messenger in stores equipped with self-checkout counters.
The service is already operating on more than 50,000 checkouts in 15,000 stores across Russia. Thanks to the integrated MAX infrastructure, retirees no longer have to present a paper certificate or ask store clerks for help. Going forward, the chain expects to expand this functionality to other welfare recipient groups, such as students and large families.
Remember that any citizen with a verified Gosuslugi Portal account can link it to a digital ID in MAX. Extra advice on the issuance of digital certificates is available from any customer office of the Social Fund across the country.
