The portal's digital service enables quick transfer of information so that pensions or allowances can be remitted without an in-person visit. This is especially convenient for proactive benefit assignment, when the entitlement arises automatically, with no applications required.
In such cases, the Fund needs the recipient's current bank details to remit funds. More than 2 million people in total have already provided them via the Gosuslugi Portal to receive payouts from the Social Fund. Data transmitted via the Gosuslugi account resolves this issue, saving people the trouble of submitting a separate application on the payment delivery method.
Note that today the Social Fund uses the application-free format to assign various pensions and allowances, including virtually all types of disability pensions and loss-of-breadwinner pensions for minor children. The application-free procedure is also used to assign age-related pensions to unemployed pre-retirees, social pension supplements up to the subsistence rate, as well a number of child allowances, including the maternity capital.
