With May holidays approaching, the Social Fund will pay all child allowances that would normally be due before May 3, ahead of time, on April 29–30:
- the unified allowance for children under 17 and pregnant women;
- the monthly allowance for non-working parents of children under 18 months;
- the monthly allowance for children of conscripted servicemen.
Payments will be made ahead of time to families who opted for wire bank transfers as the mode of payment.
Those who want their benefits delivered by mail will have their payments on before May 25, depending on the Russian Post offices schedule in their regions.
Families receiving monthly maternity capital payments for children under 3, will receive their payments as usual, on May 5.
Remember that in order to make payments more convenient for parents, the Social Fund disburses most of the child allowances on the same day.
Payments for the previous month arrive on the 3rd day of the next month, if the cashless transfer option has been selected. If the payment date falls on a holiday or a weekend, the Fund makes an early payment.
For parents receiving their benefits by mail, deliveries take place from the 3rd to the 25th day of the month, depending on the approved delivery schedule.
Please note that some regions pay their own benefits to families with children, as per regional laws. The social welfare department are in charge of those benefits. They have their own payment schedules which may differ from the Social Fund's schedule.
