A special type of information introduced in 2023 simultaneously with the creation of the Social Fund of Russia, is used to this end. Coal industry enterprises transfer their employee data, which subsequently allows for the proactive processing of occupational pension supplements.
During the first quarter of this year, the Social Fund granted the employer record-based supplement to 64% of the miners who have applied. Today, they only need to submit an electronic application: the Fund will verify all other details independently using the data from companies. The data also contains information about the miners' earnings, enabling the Fund to calculate the supplement amount on its own without asking the employer for income statements.
As a reminder, the occupational pension supplement is granted to coal industry employees working as miners, tunnelers, machine operators, electrical mechanics, and similar jobs. The supplement is granted on retirement.
