To evaluate the treatment outcomes of demobilized fighters, the Fund's centers monitor their physical condition. Thanks to the manipulations undergone this year, health improvements have been noted in 98% of the special military operation servicemen.
98.2% of veterans with musculoskeletal system and peripheral nervous system disorders showed improvement after completing their rehabilitation. Patients with central nervous system disorders improved their condition in 96.9% of cases. Pain was reduced in 76.4% of patients, while 68.5% showed improvement in their motor functions.
Psycho-emotional recovery is an essential component of rehabilitation. Clinical psychologists and psychotherapists work with veterans at the Social Fund's centers, helping them cope with the consequences of stress experienced in the combat zone. Since the beginning of the year, an improvement in communicative activity has been recorded in 94.7% of patients.
To make rehabilitation services more accessible, compensation for travel expenses to the Social Fund's centers and back is provided. Starting this year, veterans can not only refund their travel expenses but also obtain tickets in advance for all types of transport.
On top of that, now veterans can come for treatment to the Fund's rehabilitation centers with accompanying persons, whose travel, accommodation and meals at the center will also be covered. This applies to former servicemen with group I disabilities or those requiring assistance due to their medical condition.
