700 married couples regularly visit the Social Fund's Communication Centers for Seniors

The Social Fund's Communication Centers for Seniors are part of the Family national project and the federal project, Elderly Generation.

Today, the Social Fund's Communication Centers for Seniors operate in 88 Russian regions. Over 2,347,000 people have visited the communication centers in the time the project has been running. Sverdlovsk and Penza regions, as well as the Republic of Mordovia are the leaders in that field.

76,000 events have been held in communication centers across the country this year; 254,000 since the project commenced.

Initially, communication centers focused on teaching seniors financial literacy, computer skills, Internet skills and the benefits provided by the Social Fund. Now, they are hosting stage plays, music and song shows, sports contests, preparing parcels for the special military operation servicemen. In small cities, those centers have become veritable culture hubs.

The Social Fund started setting them up after the merger and the ambitious optimization project were complete, making use of over 100,000 square meters of free floor space and opening over 600 communication centers.
