It showcases over 9,000 events in all regions of the country. Odnoklassniki users in all Russian regions can now see up-to-date announcements for all events planned by the Social Fund's Communication Centers for Seniors.
The Fund started opening those centers in 2022, using facilities that became vacant after the Pension Fund of Russia had merged with the Social Insurance Fund. In the four years since, the project has gone national. Now, 999 of those centers operate off the Fund's client offices in 88 Russian regions, providing seniors with extra opportunities for personal fulfillment.
Their staff offer computer and financial literacy training, consultations on fraud protection and personal finance management, guided tours, creative workshops, literary evenings, and other events to promote rich and active living. Information on all those activities is now accessible from the Odnoklassniki events guide.
"The Communication Centers for Seniors we are setting up under the Family national project, help the 'silver' generation remain active, healthy and socially engaged. Thanks to the Odnoklassniki event guide, elderly people can always be aware of the events taking place in their region and easily sign up for the ones they like. That is another modern and convenient channel we are launching for the older generation," said Sergey Chirkov, Chairman of the Social Fund of Russia.
Odnoklassniki is one of the most popular social platforms for people over 55. It actively accumulates capabilities intended for that audience, including by supporting federal and regional active longevity programs and the Social Fund's Communication Centers for Seniors.
