Starting from August 2025, the number of electronic work record holders grew by 3.6 million. Nearly 27 million employees all over the country have switched to electronic employment data by now.
Electronic employment records provide employees with direct access to their career information, with no involvement from their employers. That allows for promptly tracking HR changes and, if necessary, presenting the data to various organizations, including when it is needed to access certain services.
An extract from an electronic employment record verified with a digital signature is equal to its printed copy. That document can be provided to employers by any convenient means, including e-mail.
If you need a paper copy of your employment record, you can always get it from a Social Fund client office or a multifunctional center. The office staff stamp and sign these printouts. You can also request electronic employment record information from your employer, but only for the period of your employment there.
Remember that paper employment records are still used and equal to electronic ones. You should keep your paper employment record safe, because it contains information on your employment up to 2020.
