Since January, Russians have received 4.7 million notifications from the Social Fund regarding payments and services available upon the occurrence of 13 specific life events. These events include starting a family, reaching retirement age, pregnancy, and a number of others.
The bulk of notices (3.7 million) pertained to measures related to the birth of a child or his/her reaching a certain age. In such cases, proactive notification takes place without any action required from a parent. A questionnaire is sent to the user's personal account on the Gosuslugi public services portal, and once it is completed, a list of available federal, regional, and municipal services is displayed.
Notifications concerning life events help Russians stay informed about the benefits they are entitled to, while the Social Fund uses pertinent data to automatically provide services and render support when an event occurs, without waiting for citizens to submit formal requests.
Information from the Social Fund is particularly valuable in certain life situations, for instance, when someone loses a job or is recognized as disabled. In such moments, it is important to easily receive the needed payments and support, without having to spend time figuring out the details.
