Russian Pension Fund Board Chairman Anton Drozdov and Presidential Advisor for Internet Development German Klimenko have moderated an expert debate titled ‘IT Technologies – New Points of Social Growth’. The expert debate held on the sidelines of the Second Forum of Regional Social Innovations in Krasnogorsk addressed the role of IT technologies in changing the life of people, society and the world at large.

Pension co-funding program: government doubles 2016 contributions of program participants

Participants in the state pension co-funding program credited 5.7 billion rubles of voluntary contributions to their accounts last year. The government contributed 5.5 billion rubles to the program in May 2017.

The total volume of co-funding is always smaller than overall contributions, as some program participants contribute either less than 2,000 rubles or more than 12,000 rubles, and only contributions varying from 2,000 to 12,000 rubles are co-funded.

The personal account section of the Russian Pension Fund’s website is now offering an opportunity to file for a federal social pension supplement. The service is on a trial run in a number of PFR offices.

Please be advised that all non-working pensioners whose total income falls short the pensioner’s subsistence minimum of the home region are entitled to a federal or regional social supplement, which raised the pension to the regional pensioner’s subsistence minimum.

Maternity capital has helped 4.5 million Russian families improve their living conditions. As many as 2.9 million families repaid their mortgage loans with maternity capital either fully or partially, and another 1.6 million families had their homes improved without loans.

An average social pension of children with disabilities and people with lifelong disabilities of the 1st group amounted to 13,241 rubles this year.

An average social pension of children with disabilities and 1st group persons with lifelong disabilities stands at 13,241 rubles.
