A one-time benefit of 5,000 rubles has been paid to all pensioners of the Russian Pension Fund. The benefit was fully funded in the amount of 221.7 billion rubles. The money was paid through delivery services, including Russian Post, Sberbank and other banks and postal services chosen by pensioners.
Some pensioners may not have received the one-time benefit for technical reasons, for instance, due to their absence at the time of a postman’s visit. Such pensioners will receive the benefit next month. According to the Russian Pension Fund, such cases have been rare. On the whole, the one-time benefit has been received by over 43.5 million Russian pensioners, both working and non-working.
