Insurance pensions of pensioners, who kept on working in 2016, were increased in August 2017. The pension rise resulted from the annual automatic adjustment of insurance pensions of working pensioners provided by the Russian Pension Fund.
Recipients of old-age and disability pensions for whom employers were paying insurance contributions in 2016 were entitled to the automatic adjustment of pensions.
In contrast to the traditional rise of insurance pensions by a particular percent, such pensions are increased individually, depending on the salary of the pensioner who kept on working in 2016 transformed into no more than three pension points.
