The Social Fund has appointed a single allowance for 80 thousand children under 17 years old. Families will receive their first payments next week.

Since January 1, insurance pensions of Russians are indexed by 4.8%. The increase affects 31.1 million non-working pensioners, whose payments will be increased by an average of 1,000 rubles a month. As a result of indexation, the average old-age pension will increase to 21.9 thousand rubles. At the same time, indexation is individual for each pensioner and depends on the size of the pension received.

Since the beginning of the year, the Pension Fund has sent 23 million proactive notifications to Russians about the amount of the future old-age insurance pension. Such information was received in the personal account on the public services portal for men over 45 years old and women over 40 years old.

The new payment will be available to women who registered early for pregnancy, as well as parents of children under 17 years of age. The single allowance will unite a number of social support measures that are in force today for needy families. The payment will be made by the Social Fund of Russia, which will start working from January 2023.

Since January 2022, the Pension Fund has generated 5 million extracts from the electronic work book (DWB) at the request of the Russians. Almost all information was requested online through the public services portal. The share of electronic statements as a result was 87%.

In accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation, Sergey Chirkov was appointed Chairman of the Pension and Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation from January 1, 2023.

Since the beginning of the year, the Pension Fund has transferred more than 65 billion rubles in payments to families with children under support measures that were previously provided by social protection authorities. About 1.3 million parents received various types of social security.

The Pension Fund of the Russian Federation has approved the Declaration of the Values of Client-Centricity for implementation.

The maximum monthly allowance for children aged 8 to 17 is provided for 3.2 million school-age children. The amount of such a payment to families corresponds to the subsistence minimum established for a child in each region.

Eighty-five percent of requests for Pension Fund services have been submitted online, via an account on the public services portal or the PFR website, this year. Most PFR services can now be received from home.
