Sergey Chirkov, Chairman of the Social Fund, is in Perm Territory with a work visit

During the visit, the Fund Chairman signed a cooperation agreement with Governor Dmitry Mahonin. It reaffirmed the interactions between the Fund and the regional government across a number of areas and also expanded cooperation on pension and social security-related issues. On top of that, the agreement opens up extra opportunities for new social projects.

Sergey Chirkov agrees cooperation between the Social Fund and Perm Territory

The agreement between the Social Fund and the regional Government was signed today during a meeting between Sergey Chirkov, Chairman of the Social Fund, and Governor Dmitry Mahonin in Perm. The document both reaffirms the established working practices and lays a solid foundation for a long-term partnership.

Sergey Chirkov: Social Fund's flagship offices have covered the first ten Russian regions

Social Fund's flagship offices opened in 10 Russian regions. In the first half of 2025, Social Fund branches across the country launched 17 flagship offices, and roughly the same number will open in the second half of the year. Sergey Chirkov, Chairman of the Social Fund, spoke of that during his working visit to Perm where he opened a new flagship office to service private individuals and insureds.

Social Fund expands and improves support for disabled people

Disabled people in Russia today have a number of government benefits and support measures available to them. Their list is expanding constantly, while the ways to receive them improve and get easier and more convenient.

Social Fund received 7,300 pension adjustment applications from mothers of five and more children in a day

Mothers of large families are submitting those applications since yesterday in all Social Fund client offices and on the Gosuslugi Portal. The majority of adjustment applications came from the proactive outreach to mothers of large families. Based on available records, the Social Fund offices compiled lists of mothers eligible for a pension adjustment and obtained their consent for the recalculation remotely.

Social Fund started accepting pension adjustment applications from mothers of five or more children

Starting today, applications can be submitted at all Social Fund client offices and on the Gosuslugi Portal. Mothers of large families will start receiving the higher pensions as early as the new year. For applications submitted in December, the pension adjustment will come into effect in January. The Social Fund budget for 2026, approved by a federal law and signed by the President, has the money required to increase the payments.
