Over the first half of the year, the Social Fund has updated 460,000 pension accounts with information about care provided to people with disabilities and individuals aged 80 or older.
Since the launch of the maternity capital program in 2007, more than 15 million certificates have been issued to Russian families.
The Social Fund optimizes the territorial infrastructure of its branches on an annual basis, Sergey Chirkov, Chairman of the Social Fund, has been quoted as saying in an interview to TASS News Agency.
The average time for approving and revising the terms of a monthly cash payout has been cut by nearly 10% and 15% respectively. The Social Fund also shortened the processing time for applications from monthly cash payout recipients regarding their choice of how to receive social services. Such applications are processed within one day now.
As of late July, the share of families with children receiving child allowances under the social treasury principles reached 98.6%. This figure exceeded the target set in the Family national project, under which such social support measures as maternity capital, unified allowance and other benefits are currently available in Russia.
By mid-August, more than 343,000 families have improved their housing conditions using maternity capital. Of these, 77,000 utilized the funds for a direct housing purchase without taking a loan.
Since January, Russians have received 4.7 million notifications from the Social Fund regarding payments and services available upon the occurrence of 13 specific life events. These events include starting a family, reaching retirement age, pregnancy, and a number of others.
The Social Fund's rehabilitation centers have admitted 15,200 participants in the special military operation this year. More than a thousand of them underwent treatment accompanied by their loved ones and relatives – an option that became available this year.
Citizens have used the Social Fund's online calculator to do 1.6 million future pension calculations this year.
By mid-year, the Social Fund has paid the unified allowance to parents of 10.2 million children.
