Now families can apply for payments even if their income is above or below the allowable threshold, provided that able-bodied family members are unemployed and registered with the employment center. These benefit concessions for assigning the unified benefit are granted to residents of certain localities in the border regions of the Russian Federation until the end of this year, in accordance with a new government resolution.

Since the reunification of the new constituent entities with Russia, the Social Fund has promptly established full-scale support services for residents. By the beginning of 2024, all Fund services were fully available to residents of the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics, as well as the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.

The Social Fund's branch in the Donetsk People's Republic has handed over keys to new Lada Granta vehicles to residents of the region injured at work.

The leadership of the Central Office of the Social Fund of Russia (SFR) has purchased 15 unmanned aerial vehicles for servicemen in the special military operation zone, with a total value exceeding RUB 1.7 million.

The Social Fund has issued more than 1.4 million decisions on the assignment of pensions to citizens in the new constituent entities, announced Sergey Chirkov, Chairman of the Fund. This figure includes both transfers from pensions under regional regulations of the four constituent entities and pensions initially assigned under Russian legislation.

The Social Fund of Russia organized the evacuation of 20,000 pension files from the city of Kakhovka in the Kherson region to a safe location. The documents had been stored in archives located in close proximity to the combat zone, which had prevented specialists from accessing them. Now, residents of Kakhovka and surrounding areas will be able to receive pensions and social benefits.

Employees of the Social Fund have begun processing payments for residents of the liberated city of Avdeevka. The first recipient of support measures was a local resident who received an insurance payment on March 1 due to an industrial accident.

In 2024, the Social Fund of Russia assigned a unified benefit to 2.7 million children under 17 and 44,400 pregnant women.

Ahead of the New Year, employees of the Central Office of the Social Fund of Russia decided to bring joy to soldiers participating in the special military operation. More than 500 kilograms of sweet gifts were collected and sent to the front line.

Chairman of the Social Fund of Russia Sergey Chirkov, in an interview with the RIA Novosti, spoke about the main achievements of the Fund over its first year of operation since its establishment, the support provided to families with children, the work of branches in the new regions, and shared details about the preparation of a unified registry of Russians in need and the agency's development plans.
